Join the CanOSS Ontario College of Assessors
CanOSS Ontario and BORN Ontario are seeking experienced clinicians and subject matter experts to join the CanOSS Ontario College of Assessors. Assessors will participate in confidential reviews of maternal mortality and morbidity events, beginning with cases involving severe peripartum hemorrhage, to support quality improvement and enhance maternal safety across Ontario. Guided by principles of no-blame learning, collaboration, and patient-centred care, assessors will contribute clinical expertise and systems thinking to identify opportunities for improvement. Reviews are conducted securely within the BORN Information System and are designed to be flexible while supporting meaningful system-wide learning. Expressions of Interest are being accepted until August 31, 2026.
