This interactive, scenario-based course by Public Health Ontario is designed to help health care workers improve their IPAC knowledge and skills. This resource includes critical practice elements including understanding the chain of transmission, conducting a point-of-care risk assessment and critical IPAC practices such as hand hygiene. It also includes the elements of additional precautions and actions to take when an infection is suspected or confirmed.
